Richard Goldstein

Since 1990, Richard Goldstein has been a Senior Managing Director of Alpine Capital, a specialized investment banking and private equity firm. Richard was also Chairman and CEO of Courtside Acquisition Corp., a special purpose public acquisition vehicle, prior to its acquisition of American Community Newspapers. Prior to joining Alpine Capital, Mr. Goldstein was a partner at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate securities.

Richard currently serves as a director of Alpine Capital Bank, a privately held New York State chartered FDIC insured banking institution, American Community Newspapers Inc. and Crème de la Crème (owner and operator of premier early childhood learning centers).

Richard is a Vice Chairman and a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Governance and of the Legal Affairs Committees of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System and its constituent hospitals. He is also a member of the Executive Committee (and former Chair) of the Queens College Foundation.

Richard is a summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Queens College and a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. He is a member of the New York Bar and American Bar Association.


Bruce Greenwald

Since 1989, Bruce Greenwald has been a Senior Managing Director of Alpine Capital. Prior to joining Alpine Capital, Bruce was a partner with Arthur Young & Company (a predecessor of Ernst & Young) where in addition to managing the tax services provided to several of its largest clients, he served as the firm’s Northeast Region Director of Taxes and was a member of the firm’s National Tax Operating Committee.

Bruce currently serves as a director of American Community Newspapers, Crème de la Crème and Destinta Theaters.

Bruce is a member of the Simon School of Business Executive Advisory Committee and a trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. In addition, Bruce is a member of the Board of Trustees and Treasurer of the Bronx Charter School for Children and was a founder of the Greenwald Professional Development Grant Program under the auspices of the Montclair Foundation for Education Excellence in Montclair, New Jersey.

Bruce received a B.S. in Business Economics and an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester.


Gregg Mayer

Prior to AEP Capital, Greg Mayer was a Senior Vice President of Alpine Capital. Gregg was also Vice President, controller and secretary of Courtside Acquisition Corp., a special purpose public acquisition vehicle, prior to its acquisition of American Community Newspapers.

Gregg was a board observer of SitUp Limited, an interactive home shopping network.

From July 1996 to July 1998, Gregg served as an analyst at Dillon Read & Co., an investment banking firm.

Gregg received a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan School of Business Administration.


Todd Miller

Until January 2008, Todd Miller was a Partner of TH Lee Putnam, a growth capital and buyout fund sponsored by Thomas H. Lee Partners. While at TH Lee Putnam, Todd helped lead the firm’s investment strategy in business services and offshore services. Todd structured, executed, and managed a wide variety of investments for TH Lee Putnam, including some of the firm’s leveraged, take-private, and cross-border transactions.

Before joining TH Lee Putnam in 2000, Todd worked for Alpine Capital Group and Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Fund. Todd began his career in Merrill Lynch's Investment Banking Group, where he advised on various domestic and international M&A transactions in the banking and insurance sectors.

Todd received a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
